Oprah tops a list of the biggest celebrity role models of the year. The AP and AOL asked more than 1,000 adults who they thought the biggest role models were. One in three named one celebrity named Oprah. Michael J. Fox has 23% of the votes and the other celebrity is George Clooney has 12%. Angelina Jolie is next with eight percent of the other celebrity, followed by a three-way tie between celebrity Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Each celebrity has two percent. One percent of those surveyed celebrity thought Mel Gibson was the year's best celebrity role model.
When it comes to the worst role models of the year, apparently you can't get any worse than one celebrity which is Britney Spears. The AP and AOL poll found about one in three named Spears. Paris Hilton is next with 18% of the vote, followed by Mel Gibson with 12%. Tom Cruise got nine percent of the vote making him a worse rodel model than Michael Richards who got six percent. Nicole Richie, Kevin Federline, Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie and Katie Holmes round out the top ten worst celebrity role models of 2006.
